BLESSED SACRAMENT CHURCH
(website)

Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. - St. Francis of Assisi

Please visit our church! We are located in the center of Greenwood/Elk, CA

Standing with your beloved under the gingerbread roof of the gazebo with the ocean spreading out to the horizon beyond is an unforgettable setting for that most special moment. Who wouldn’t want to be married here? It’s soulful, very romantic.

The inn is ideally suited to small wedding parties of 30 and fewer. We can handle all the details of your special day - minister, officiator, photographer, champagne, cake, flowers. Or, if you choose to take care of your own arrangements, we have a list of local service providers.

Emergency Services on the Elk Coast: In the event of any emergency, 911 should be called. When a 911 call is placed on the Elk Coast, the call is routed to the Sheriff's Office.

Elk Volunteer Fire Department (website)

The Elk Coast is served by two different Volunteer Fire Departments, The Elk Volunteer Fire Dept. on the north and the Redwood Coast Fire District on the south. Entry ways into the Elk Coast go through the Anderson Valley District along Highway 128 and the Albion Volunteer Fire District on Highway 1 north of the Elk Coast.

Fire, rescue and medical emergencies are handled by the local fire departments. Given the large geographical area covered by each fire department, resources are spread out through the districts to render rapid care no matter where the emergency is. Often times EMT's carry vital medical gear in their personal automobiles to provide quick medical aid.

Whether you are abalone diving, driving the scenic highways of the Elk Coast, having dinner at one of our restaurants, or just enjoying the view, the emergency service volunteers and professionals of the Elk Coast are not far away.
