The Country Store was opened in July, 1985; this eclectic store has a huge array of carefully selected items at good prices. The boutique includes sweaters, nighties, hats, jackets, sportswear, and dresses (many of which are one of a kind). The Country Store proudly features the art of many local painters, card designers, ceramicists, weavers, writers, hatmakers, and jewelers. In addition to fine arts and crafts, wonderful music can be previewed before purchasing. A wide selection of books are available.....blank journals included; and reading glasses. One section of the store contains healing natural herbs and cosmetics. There are toys for kids and adults. Many spend hours in the bead area, creating their own jewelry. And for the really creative, there are art supplies. For the unprepared on the road, there is film, and even disposable cameras. |
